C Palace 3 – 1 Millwall happymamay

Crystal Palace rushed to the FA Cup quarter-finals after its 3-1 victory over the local competitors, but victory was polluted after Jean-Felipe Matita was coordinated.

The accident came to six minutes. Mattita challenged a high ball directly outside the area when Milwal Liam Roberts goalkeeper came out of his box, as he hunted the head of the palace striker with his high shoes.

After examining the Pitchside screen, the referee Michael Oliver Roberts sent nearly 10 minutes of medical attention in this field before removing it. He was transferred directly to the hospital.

It was described by Crystal Palace, as “the most reckless challenge in the football field I have ever seen” when talking to BBC in the first half.

Eagles began to raise opportunities with the additional player, and they achieved the penetration in the 33rd minute – although it is not one of his own. Milwal Graft Tangana defender nodded to the home from Will Hughes Cross, overcoming alternative goalkeeper Lucas Jinsen.

Seven minutes later, Crystal Palace doubled its progress and Tangaga was another hand. Daniel Monoz turned home from inside the six yard box, but the target was initially excluded to infiltrate.

Oliver canceled this, and VAR confirmed that the goal will stand after the ball came out of Tangaga before Monoz turned home – which means that he was not infiltrated.

But with the last kick of the first half, Milwal gave himself a lifeline. Matt Turner initially removed the cross, but he fell to the incoming Weiss Harding, who shot the house.

Lions began in the second half well, and they will feel that it should have been equivalent. But once Crystal Palace settled, it was clear that they would watch the game, and added the safety of the third goal in the 81st minute.

It was a worthy goal for Eddie Necitia, who replaced Matita. Chris Richards nodded a free kick from Eberechi Eze, before the former Arsenal striker shaved head on his head to secure the Crystal Palace spot at Sunday.

Parish: I have never seen a challenge like that

Crystal Palace Steve Parish to BBC Sport at the end of the first half on the injury of Jean -Philip Matita:

“He got a bad cheat behind his ear and a head injury. He is in the hospital and we hope for the best.

“There are a lot of feelings in football, but we need to talk about this challenge.

“He needs a long and arduous look at himself because he shows a professional colleague with such a challenge.

“And why does the ruling need to go to the screen, I have no idea … If I kicked him in his entire head, who knows the type of damage that can happen.”

Glasner: It is a terrible mistake

Crystal Palace Oliver Glasner to BBC Sport on Jean Philip Matita:

“He is conscious when he is in hospital. His ear looks terrible. It is a very serious injury and we hope you are the best for him.

“We cannot really be happy. Of course it is a great victory in the quarter -finals, but when you lose a player with a mistake like this, you have different feelings in your stomach.

“I didn’t want to see it, but I must talk about it. It is terrible [the challenge]. I am sure that the goalkeeper does not want to hit JP in this situation because there is no player who wants to do so.

“But if you go to the ball like this with the density in the head, you cannot do it because it is very dangerous. I don’t want to blame it, but it is a terrible mistake.”

On the response from his players and the game: “The players have done well until the 55th minute in the first half.

“The second half was not the best game, but Eddie decided it with an amazing head. Going to the FA Cup quarter -finals is a great achievement and now the fingers have crossed, we hope it will be the best in JP.”

Neil does not agree with the parish: it is not the worst challenge I saw at all

Milwal Alex Neil coach to BBC Sport when asked about Steve Parish’s comments at the end of the first half on Liam Roberts Challenge:

“I don’t think there is any intention. Why was it there? It is the beginning of the game, the ball is placed behind and tries to reach there.

“I will certainly not describe it as the worst challenge I saw. We don’t want the boy to get naturally, we wish Mateeta well and we hope he will return to the stadium soon.

“For me, he has been removed, he was expelled, he was disappointed. We wish Matta well and not more than that for me.

“While it happened, I did not know if he had caught the boy or the ball caught the ball because the ball seemed to explode at a strange angle.

Unfortunately, [the screens] On the side of the hidden, he was not working, so we couldn’t see the accident again.

“I have not seen it again since then, but it was notified and was expelled, and at that point of the game, it makes the game difficult for us. It was disappointing. He made a call and did not completely receive it.”

On the goals that have been waived: “The nature of the goals disappoints me more than others. One of them is a special goal, and the other is when we expel the ball from our own player and fall to the boy in the box and score. Then we lose consecutive heads. When you reach 10 men, you want to make them work for their goals.

“We have presented ourselves a little of the lifeline by getting the goal before the first half. The plan was at the time to stay in the game as long as we were able and hope to get another goal. I was about to wander at the top while they were scoring just as we were about to make a branch, which today really summarized us.”

What will come?
