Hamas names next hostages to be released happymamay

Hamas issued the names of the hostages coming for their release in Gaza on Saturday, opposite the Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.

They are civilians, Elie Charrabi, 52, Awhad bin Ami, 56, or Levi, 34.

Eighteen hostages have been released since the ceasefire began on January 19. Israel launched 383 prisoners in return. Hamas says that another 183 should be released on Saturday.

About 33 hostages and 1900 prisoners are scheduled to be released by the end of the first stage of the ceasefire within three weeks. Israel says that eight of the 33 died. Hamas seized 251 hostages and killed about 1,200 people when Israel attacked October 7, 2023, which led to war.

At least 4,700 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli attack, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health in Hamas. The United Nations says that about two -thirds of Gaza buildings have been damaged or destroyed by Israel’s attacks.

Elie Charraby has been taken from Kibbutz Perry with his brother Yossi, who has been confirmed since then. Eli and two daughters were killed in the attack.

Ouhad bin Ami was also taken from Kibbutz Perry, with his wife, Raz. She was later released by Hamas.

Or Levy, from Rishon Leziom, a city of Tel Aviv, fled from the Nova Festival with his wife Eynav, when the gunmen attacked the event. Mr. Levy was taken into account and the body of Eynav was found in a bombs as the couple was hiding.

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said that the authorities had received the list of risks prescribed for the issuance on Saturday, and their families were informed.

Earlier on Friday, the headquarters of the hostage and families forum “News about the expected version” welcomed the three hostages.

“We will not surrender or stop at any stage until all the hostages return to the house under the current agreement – up to another – to live for rehabilitation and the deceased for its appropriate burial,” the statement said.

Hours before the release of the hostages, Hamas accused Israel of failing to commit to its commitment to increasing the amount of humanitarian aid allowed in Gaza as part of the ceasefire deal.

“The humanitarian situation is still catastrophic due to Israeli obstacles,” Naama Marouov, head of the media office in Hamas in Gaza, told a press conference in Gaza City, according to media reports.

He said only 8,500 out of 12,000 trucks expected entered Gaza since the start of the shooting, and that medical equipment and shelter supplies have been deliberately late, according to reports.

This claim contradicts 10,000 trucks with food, medicine and tents He crossed to Gaza since the beginning of the ceasefire in what he called “a huge increase.”
