Rasmus Hoglund has issued a brutal response to Kyle Walker, who said he should win an Oscar after the Manchester City defender’s acting in the derby.
Hoglund and Walker clashed just before half-time in Manchester United’s 2-1 win over City, with Walker falling to the ground in theatrical style while the pair were face-to-face.
VAR examined the incident but no violent behavior was considered as both players received a yellow card for the altercation.
Sky Sports Roy Keane and Gary Neville deemed Walker’s actions “embarrassing” and Hoglund took to Instagram to post his comeback.
Alongside a photo of the incident, Hoglund wrote: “Manchester is red, Violets are blue, what a great performance, but the Oscar goes to…”

“Walker must be embarrassed. To go down like that…
“Look at this. I don’t know the guy and I’m embarrassed by him.”
