The government news agency in Lebanon says that Israel had withdrawn its forces from southern Lebanon, regardless of five positions. Israel’s withdrawal is a major part of the ceasefire, which ended a year’s conflict with the Hezbollah militant Xia.
The Israeli ministers said that some forces will remain inside Lebanon to protect the northern societies of Israel.

The Lebanese authorities say more than 3,960 people – many of whom were civilians – were killed during hostilities, and another million people were displaced from the areas that Hezbollah had a strong presence.
Israeli authorities say more than 80 Israeli soldiers and 47 civilians were killed. About 60,000 citizens were displaced from northern Israel.
The United Nations says that most of those who were displaced in Lebanon have returned home, while only a minority of the displaced in Israel has done so, according to reports.
The positions in which the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) was deployed in the mountainous terrain at the edge of the internationally recognized border between Lebanon and Israel.
On Tuesday, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that the Israeli Defense Army “remained temporary in five high strategic points.” He added that this was “necessary for our security.”
He said in a press conference in Jerusalem: “Once Lebanon is completely executed from the deal deal, there will be no need to keep these points.”
The Lebanese soldiers moved to the areas that the Israeli forces vacated and began to purify road barriers and verify unproductive ammunition, according to Associated Press on Tuesday.
She said that some villagers had returned to their homes, many of which were detonated in the conflict.
“I am very happy because I will return even if I found my home destroyed,” said Atf Erabi, 36, who was returning to the village of Kafr Kela with his wife and two daughters. “If I find that my house is destructive, I will rebuild it.”
Israel’s withdrawal was postponed from the original date of 60 days – which decreased on January 26 – stipulated in the ceasefire.
In a social media post on Tuesday, Mr. Katz said: “The implementation of the Israeli Defense Army will continue against Hezbollah with its full power. Hezbollah launched its military campaign against Israel the next day, saying it was acting in solidarity with the Palestinians.
