Six Israeli hostages freed ahead of Palestinian prisoner release happymamay

Hamas launched six other hostages detained in Gaza, compared to 602 Palestinian prisoners, to be released later on Saturday.

The hostages, which were issued, included four kidnappings during October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel – Tal Shuham, Omer Shim Tof, Alya Cohen and order Winker.

The other two men, Affra Mengistu and Hisham Al-Sayed, have been in Gaza for years-Mr. Minnegusto since 2014 and Mr. Side since 2015.

The six are the final hostages who are still alive as part of the first stage of the ceasefire deal that is scheduled to end next Saturday. Israel and Hamas have not yet agreed to the conditions of the second stage.

Later on Saturday, 602 Palestinian prisoners are to be released, and most of them were arrested after the October 7, 2023 attack.

The BBC understands those who have been released will include 50 prisoners who spend lifelong rulings and 60 with a high penalty, according to the media office statement for the Palestinians.

The bodies of four other hostages are expected to be transferred to Israel next week in what is supposed to be the last step in the first stage of the ceasefire.

There are still 59 hostages kept Hamas, and it is believed to be alive. More is scheduled to be liberated in the next stage of the three -stage ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which is scheduled to start on March 1.

Hamas began to launch hostages, which are facilitated by the Red Cross, in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in January. Initial chaotic scenes become more design, with hostages surrounded by fighters in stages before delivery.

He and Mr. Sayed, the Bedouin Arab, who entered Gaza in 2015, has suffered with mental health problems in the past, according to their families.

After his release, Mr. Mengistu’s family said they had endured “10 years and five months of unimaginable suffering.”

Separately, in Nawyager in the center of Gaza, Mr. Shaim Tof, 22, and Mr. Cohen, 27, and Mr. Winker, 23 years old, were released by Hamas.

All three were captured at the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023.

Mr. Shaim Tof initially escaped by car when Hamas fighters came down at the festival, but he was arrested when he returned to save his friends.

Mr. Cohen had hid with his girlfriend, Zif Aboud, in a shelter at the festival, but was discovered and expelled. The shelter was bombed, but Mrs. Aboud Najat and escaped.

Mr. Wenkert managed to send text messages to his family when the festivals pioneers are attacked, telling them that he would go to a safe shelter, but they lost his contact with him.

Mr. Sayed was released separately in Gaza City later on Saturday.

The crowds received in the field of Tel Aviv, public releases, with chants, where they saw them revealing live feeding.

Families who celebrate the return of the six men called for the release of all the remaining hostages.

The Mr. Shawham family said: “Our only request is to seize the opportunity window to secure a deal that will return … Return all the hostages to the house.”

Among the remaining hostages is Adan Alexander, a 21 -year -old Israeli soldier captured on October 7.

His mother, Yael Alexander, who was watching the release on Saturday, told the BBC that it was “amazing” to see them editors, but for her family, waiting “is very difficult.”

“There are more than dozens of young people alive, like my son, who are still waiting for their release,” she said. “This is the main goal, to release live people now from Gaza.”
