Ukrainian President Folodimir Zelinski said he wanted to “stand the United States strongly with our side” after he exchanged the White House with US President Donald Trump.

After arriving in the United Kingdom to participate in the summit of European leaders, Zelensky urged the United States to continue its support for Ukraine despite the “harsh dialogue” between the two sides.

He pointed out that Trump wanted to end the war, which began with Russia’s extensive invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 202, but added that no one wanted peace more than Ukraine.

The fateful White House meeting was aimed at signing a deal to reach the United States to the deposits of Ukraine for rare ground minerals. Instead, Zelinski was told to leave early before signing it.

Trump later told the correspondents that Ukraine president was “exaggerated with his hand” on the stock exchange and that he would need “to say” I want to make peace “to restart talks with the United States.

On Saturday, Zelinski said that Ukraine was ready to sign the metal agreement as a “first step towards security guarantees” from the United States – a line he preserved for several days, but he refused to agree to it.

“But this is not enough, and we need more than that,” he added. “The ceasefire without security guarantees is dangerous to Ukraine.”

He added: “All Ukrainians want to hear a strong position on the United States on our part. It is understood that the United States may search for dialogue with [Russian President Vladimir] Putin.

“But the United States has always talked about” peace through strength. “We can together take strong steps against Putin.”

In Russia, the Kremlin Foreign Ministry spokeswoman described Zelinski’s visit to Washington as “a complete diplomatic failure Kiev.”

Maria Zakharova said that the Ukrainian president is “obsessed” to prolong the war, and repeat Russia’s insistence on including all the lands currently occupied by Russia.

Before the London Summit, where European leaders will discuss efforts to secure a peace agreement, Zelinski met with the UK Prime Minister Sir Kerr Starmer – who “maintains fixed support for Ukraine.”

French President Emmanuel Macron published: “There is an aggressor: Russia. There is a victim: Ukraine. We were right to help Ukraine and the punishment of Russia three years ago – and continue to do so.”

The outgoing consultant in Germany Olaf Schools wrote that “no one wants peace more than the citizens of Ukraine,” with his replacement of Friedrich Mirz, adding, “We are standing with Ukraine” and “we must never confuse the aggressor and the victim in this terrible war.”

Speaking to BBC on Saturday, NATO President Mark Retty said that he spoke to Zelinski twice after the White House meeting, and told him “We have to respect” what Trump did to Ukraine so far.

He referred to the first Trump administration Approval of selling anti -tank missile systems Ukraine was allowed to “fight”.

Putin launched the war two years after Trump left his post.

Russia was making slow gains in the battlefield for several months.

The losses included four patients in a hospital in the city center. The Ukrainian prosecution service said that residential buildings, pharmacies, cafes and shops were damaged.

A conversation was strained on Friday after the US Vice President JD Vance – who was sitting alongside other politicians in the room – Zelesky that the war should end through diplomacy.

Zelensky responded by asking “What kind of diplomacy?” , Referring to the previous ceasefire deal in 2019, three years before Russia had been widely invaded when Moscow was supporting and arming separatist fighters in eastern Ukraine.
