Bondi Ake and James Ryan have signed contract extensions with Ireland.
Ake has agreed a new one-year contract that will keep him at Connacht until the end of the 2025-26 season while Ryan has signed for a further three years with Leinster.
Ake, 34, has been a key figure in Ireland’s midfield since making his debut in 2017, earning 60 caps, winning two Grand Slam titles and an additional Six Nations title.
“I am delighted to have extended my contract with the Irish Rugby Football Union and I am excited to compete for Ireland and Connacht in the coming seasons,” Ake said.
“I love playing rugby in Ireland and I think this is the right environment for me to progress as a player.
“I would like to thank the IRFU for their support and I am excited about what the future holds for Green in the coming years.”
Ryan, 28, played 67 times for Ireland and was also captain of the national team.
“I am delighted to sign a new contract with Leinster and commit to my long-term future with the IRFU,” Ryan said.
“Playing in ambitious groups is a huge motivation for me personally and I know how committed everyone in Irish rugby is to working hard and achieving success.
“It is a huge honor to play for my county and country, and with the talent coming through the academy systems, I am excited for what the future holds in the blue and green.”
The deals come a day after Tadhg Furlong and Andrew Porter also signed contract extensions with Ireland and Leinster until 2027.
