Vivianne MIEDEMA called for the introduction of the goal line technology after he ruled the controversy in the Premier League on Sunday.
Medima was rejected what I thought should have been a second goal in Manchester City 2-1 victory over Spears after the goal line. At the bottom in Brighton, Lauren James scored a modified goal for Chelsea from what was shown by a re -infiltration TV.
There were also two main accidents in Arsenal’s 4-3 victory over West Ham at the late start, prompting mixed views.
Dutch international Medima gave Manchester City early in their match to Tottenham, before the host side returned through Beth England.
Then Mima saw a head in the second half that was cleared of the line by goalkeeper Ash Neville, who turned the ball against the bottom side of the crossbar and outside.
The ball seemed to cross the line, but with only one game camera and without the goal line technology on the Brisbane Road, no goal was given.
MIEDEMA: WSL deserves technology
Speak exclusively to Sky Sports News After the match, Medima said: “It looked as if it was for me [that the ball had crossed the line].
“But I think this is the next step that we need to achieve, the target line technique regardless of whether it will go or not.
“I think we deserve it as my role and I would really see it that the changes come very quickly in the game.
“We are always pressing to be better and develop a league level very quickly – and I think things like this cannot remain behind.”
Oba Fujino scored late in the second half to secure the city eventually a 2-1 victory.
Christiansen: Brighton will not be happy with the goal of James
Wsl Chelsea leaders lost 2-1 in Brighton when England settled James for the ruling champions in the 61st minute.
But it seemed that James was sneaking as Mayira Ramirez’s first shot was well distributed by goalkeeper Melina Loyk, but it was not monitored by officials. James did home home, without any VAR, the target stood up.
Sky Sports Pundit Izzy Christiansen believed that Chelsea benefited from a touch of good luck with the equalizer.
“It is lucky for Chelsea because they saved a point,” said Christiansen.
“This decision, in another game, may have been given as a communication.
“Brighton was sticking to the last 15 or 20 minutes … but I don’t think they would be happy with that [James’ goal] One bit.
“But in the big plan for things, Brighton’s performance at the present time is the most important thing. Of course the result is important, but the manager will really be happy with his team’s game.”
In response to a question about whether he believed James was infiltrated on her goal, Brighton coach, Dario Vidosic said: “It is difficult to tell the angle that we have. You hope, because after that he cuts a little deeper.”
West Ham Boss Skinner: I need to see the third goal again
West Ham ranked early in Arsenal through two goals from Amber Tessiak, but the second Tessia pushed protests from some of the arsenal players, who felt that Lea and who had stumbled in accumulation. With no VAR in the place of allowing the goal to stand.
Arsenal eventually continued to win the movie “Seven Objectives”, as Lea Williamson scored 3-3 in the second half of the London derby with a head that was sentenced to bypass the line.
West Ham coach, Rihan Skinner, praised her players after the match, but she was criticizing.
“I am proud of the efforts of the players today,” she told a newspaper Sky Sports.
“I need to see the third goal again because I am sure that it hasn’t crossed the line, it is important to look at this.
“We haven’t seen this section of the game and this is where he was away from.
“There were many mistakes today that were not given. There are a lot of question marks about it. There was also a background on the edge of the box where we were about to shoot and not presented. That’s what it is.”
