Steve Smith announced his retirement from the international cricket game for a day on Wednesday after the Australian champions left the semi -finals to India.
Smith, the winner of the World Cup prize twice in Australia, defeated Tuesday, where he scored 73 in a four -wing defeat to India in Dubai, where the 35 -year -old confirmed his departure from this coordination.
The 35 -year -old confirmed that he will remain qualified for the tests and international Twenty20.
“It was a great journey and I loved every minute,” Smith said.
“There was a lot of amazing times and great memories. Winning the World Cup was highlighting the side of many of the team’s teammates who shared the trip.
“The cricket test is still a priority, and I am really looking forward to the World Championship Final, the West Indies in the Winter, then England at home. I feel I still have a lot to contribute to that stage.”
Smith concludes his career in ODI with 170 games, as he ranked sixteenth in Australia, a player surrounded by Australia in coordination of more than 50 years and twelve goals. Australia has been in 64 of those matches that last one day.
