Novak Djokovic hopes to continue his partnership with coach Andy Murray through the French Open and Wimbledon.
Murray returned to Djokovic team in Indian Wales this week, and will also be in the Serbian team in Miami Open later this month after he initially trained it during his period to the semi -finals of Australia Open in January.
Djokovic Carlos Alcaraz defeated in the quarter -finals in Melbourne – he could now meet the Spaniard at the same stage in Indian Wales – before he forced him to injury in the knee strings to withdraw from his struggle with Alexander Zvevv at the end of the four.
In Murray, Grand Slam 24 times said: “I enjoy the relationship with Andy.
“I still feel that we are going through the process of getting to know each other on the field in a different way from what we knew each other 25 years ago.
“It is clear that it is a new role for him. He also explores him and tries to understand how he can excel.
“[At the Australian Open]I think I played perhaps the best tennis played at some time. So I definitely attribute this to the work that I had with Andy. “
Djokovic: We hope that the injury will be behind me
Djokovic lost in the first round of the Qatar Open Championship, and he hit straight groups by Matteo Bertini, but he believes that he is now suffering from injury cases completely as he is preparing to face Van de Zanchell in the second round of Indian Wales.
The 37 -year -old will play the role of “Sunshine Double” for this event, then Miami will open for the first time in six years.
“The injury is behind me. I mean, I hope,” Djokovic added.
“I did not feel any problems before Doha, and at the end of the Doha Championship, I felt completely fine, as I felt in the period before the Indian Wales.
“I haven’t done a good performance in Indian Wales and Miami since 2016 or 2017. I have struggled to find my best game here.
“I will not be young, and I know that. But I definitely look forward to deepening the championship. I have done, I think, the right things to prepare.”
