The PGA tour has cleared Wyndham Clarak from violating the rules after the former US champion in the United States took a free decrease during the second round of Arnold Palmer Invitationalism in Bay Hill.
Clark, World No. 7, participated in confusion in third place on Friday.
The ball was ruled to hit the corridor, bounce in the air and then fell again on its stadium mark, which he was entitled to in a free drop.
If the ball fell in another Devot, Clark would not have just decreased as a punishment.
Clark went on an equal footing between the third hole and ended the second round of the shots behind the leader Shin Lori
Social media fans suggested that the ball had already fell on another sign.
However, the PGA tour statement wrote: “After reviewing the shotlink video for the Liteness of the Wyndham Clarak shot on the third hole during the second round of Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Tour PGA rules committee decided that the ball returned to its stadium mark, which is titled Clark for free comfort.”
The 31 -year -old went to the hole during one round of 71, which he left two strikes from the mid -road leader Shin Laurie heading to the weekend.
Clark said about the decline incident: “We didn’t know that there was any confusion clearly when I played. When we got it, I was asking to stop.
“We have never seen it back. Then we got up there while he was in a liar. The ball was covered with mud, so we felt comfortable and did not think about it.”
