French officials who are investigating the death of a British couple at their home in southwestern France said the killing was followed by suicide.
The bodies of Andrew and Don Sierle, who previously lived in East Lithian, were found on February 6 at their home in Les Pequies, about an hour north of Toulouse.
The body of Mrs. Sierle was found in the garden with severe wounds in her head, while her husband’s body was found hanging inside.
The BBC’s public prosecutor told that there was no evidence that another person was involved in his death.
Mrs. Sierle grew up in Emouth at the Scottish border, and Mr. Cyrle was originally from England.
They lived in Museilburg and married in France in 2023.
Prosecutors said that they lived in the Evereon region for five years.
According to his LinkedIn page, Mr. Searle previously worked to prevent financial crime in companies including Standard Life and Barclays Bank.
The son of Al -Fajr Cyrle, Hollywak representative, Calum Care, issued a statement on social media at the time of deaths
He said: “At this time, Callum Kerr and Amanda Kerr are saddened by the loss of their mother, Dawn Searle (Née Smith, Kerr) while Tom Searle and Ella Searle moved with the loss of their father, Andrew Serle.”
He asked to respect the privacy of the family during this “difficult period”.
Mr. Kiir, 30, walked his mother in the corridor when she got married to Mr. Sierle at a party in France in 2023.
