Williams Carlos Sinz driver says Charles Lickerok and his former team Ferrari are “ready” to win the Formula 1 title this year.
Sinz, who drove the new Williams for the year 2025 in Silverston on Friday, was replaced by Boyce Hamilton in Ferrari after the largest driver’s move in the history of sports.
Ferrari has not won a title since the victory of their structure in 2008 and Kimi Raikkonen was the last winner in the title of drivers in 2007.
Scuderia was only 14 points behind McLaren in the ranking of the two builders last year, as the title race fell to the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi.
“Let’s see how everyone begins in the year, but I remember saying all the Ferrari people when I left they are ready to fight for the championship and win this year’s championship,” Sainz told “Sainz”. Sky Sports News In the launch of the Williams.

Sinz: The first positive impressions in Williams
Williams will be the fifth team that Sainz paid since joining F1 in 2015, after he had spells at Toro Rosso, Renault, McLaren and Ferrari.
Sainz has won four races for Ferrari over the past three seasons, so Williams has a multi -race driver in the squad for the first time since Felipe Massa in 2017.
“I always say that the first impressions are very important because you only have one chance to make the first impression,” said Sinz.

Albon: Sinz will bring a lot to the team
Sainz Alex Albon is scheduled to provide the most difficult challenge in the team since the London -born Thai driver in Red Ball was alongside Max Versaben in 2019 and 2020.
After a year of F1, Albon had the upper hand on Nicholas Laveri and Logan Sargent, but Franco Kulapinto was pushed strongly after the Argentine replaced Sargent for the last stages of last season.
Albon was linked to about 2025 seats near in front of the network before its fullness, but in the end a new deal signed with Williams.
In response to a question about whether it could be a season or a break in his career, Albon said: “I don’t see it much like this, everything or nothing.
“In my head, it is great for Carlos to be on board – I think he will bring a lot to the team. It comes from a very strong year, and perhaps stronger for him in Formula 1, and I think it is a great opportunity.
“I had drivers who did not enjoy this reputation, while with Carlos I know he was doing, so it’s great to face it.”
