Chris Eubank Jr and Connor Benn will settle their bitter feud at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, April 26.
The British rivals have finally agreed terms for the long-awaited showdown, with Turki Al Sheikh, head of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, revealing that the match will headline the Riyadh Season event in north London.
Eubank Jr and Benn – the sons of top rivals Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn – were originally supposed to face each other in October 2022, but the latter failed two drug tests.
Penn’s two-year battle to clear his name led to his suspension being lifted in November.
Since the canceled fight more than two years ago, Eubank Jr. has lost to Liam Smith but won a rematch in 2023 and has fought just once in 2024, defeating Camille Zeremeta.
Ben spent 525 days outside the ring before boxing in America, where he defeated Mexican Rodolfo Orozco in September 2023 in Florida, then Peter Dobson in Las Vegas last February. He earned both victories by unanimous decision.
Yarde and Billiam-Smith advantage on the stacked undercard
The all-British showdown tops the bill as Anthony Yarde and Lydon Arthur continue their quest for light heavyweight world titles.
Liam Smith returns to the ring for the first time since being knocked out by Eubank Jr. in September 2023 against Aaron McKenna, putting his 19-fight unbeaten record on the line.
Former cruiserweight world champion Chris Pellam-Smith faces Brandon Glanton in his first fight since losing his WBO belt to Gilberto Ramirez.
Vidal Riley is looking for his 13th straight professional win against Chevon Clarke in the light heavyweight division.
