The NASA-SPACEX mission aimed at wiping the way to the crossroads has been postponed to return to Earth.
the Falcon 9 was re -launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida due to a hydraulic floor problem. There is another possible launch opportunity on Thursday.
The missile aims to transfer four new crew members to the International Space Station (ISS) and his hand is the way to the return of Sony Williams and Bush Wilmor.
NASA’s astronauts flew into space in June, but they were unable to return to Boeing spacecraft after being considered unsafe. The pair will be able to return to the ground within days of the SpaceX mission to reach ISS.
NASA’s astronauts left the Earth on June 5, 2024 on an eight -day mission and they were stuck at the International Space Station for more than nine months, instead help in the ongoing tasks at the station with maintenance and experiments.
The Wednesday’s launch could return to Earth early on Sunday.
Spacex said that the problem that forced the launch of the hydraulic rub on one of the arms of the clamp, which the engineers were trying to repair. There were fears that the arm was unable to open it completely during the launch.
There is another possible launch window on Thursday, but Spacex has not yet announced whether the equipment will be fixed by that time.
Mrs. Williams, 58, and Mr. Willmore, 61, took their strange place in a step, saying at a press conference from Is in September They were trained to “expect what is unexpected.”
“This is my happy place,” Ms. Williams said at the time, despite admitting that she missed her family and dogs.
Mr. Willmore pointed out that the issues spent by the spacecraft in Starliner they have reached made them “comfortable” to return home.
He added, however, 90 % of their training was “preparing for what was unexpected.”
He said they will stay there for eight months, nine months, 10 months “if necessary.
Mrs. Williams said her presence in space makes her think more on the planet.
“It opens the door to make you think a little differently,” she said. “It is the only planet we have and we must take care of it.”
