Dunde United called for VAR reform due to what they see as “inconsistent interpretations of the laws of the game” and withdrew its representation from the main accident panel of the Scottish Union due to fears of the body’s purpose.
The Scottish FA presented a “major accident review board” in September last year.
The committee consisting of five people, consisting of club employees, former referees, players, and coaches, is studying the main accidents of the previous week’s equipment in the presidency of SPFL or in the matches where VAR works in the leading sports cup or Scottish gas cup.
Then the committee votes to determine whether the decision was in the field and any VAR intervention later was correct.
United has now withdrew their support for KMI, confirming their concerns about the purpose of the review and its impact. Dundy United informed the Scottish Union of their decision after a 1-0 defeat in Kilmarnock, where the controversial goal of Marley Watckens was allowed to stand despite Varie’s examination.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the club said:
“Dunde United FC today informed the Scottish FA of our decision to withdraw our representation from the KMI committee (the main accident).
“This decision follows extensive discussions throughout the season with the management of the Scottish referees of the FA, as we raised concerns about the committee’s purpose, its effectiveness and its impact on Scottish football. We believe that the results of the committee were inconsistent with the comments presented by the Scottish FA.
“There were cases where the field decisions were, with the support of VAR, which was supported by the Scottish Referees Department, by the KMI committee. In many cases, these differences seem to be based on the opinions of the committee members who, for the sake often, lack the great experience in Game laws.
“The subsequent results were enlarged through the distortions of the external media, which leads to unjustified pressure on our match officials, and may affect the decisions in future matches. If it is considered a condition.
Al -Yousifi also emphasized their dissatisfaction with VAR, calling on all clubs to meet to ensure improvements in their “inconsistency”.
“In addition, we have expressed our concerns about the Scottish Union regarding the inconsistent interpretations of the laws of the game emerging from Far,” the club said.
“This contradiction has caused, at different times, that William Hill clubs for other excellent passengers express their frustration with the use of VAR, and while we fully realize our desire to ensure Dunde United at all times a fair representation, but we also would like to improve the total game in a ball Scottish foot and encourage all parties to cooperate in making improvements.
“We also acknowledge that decisions will sometimes oppose us – this is a rooted part of football. We also accept that the referees, like anyone else, will make mistakes, and respect the authority of the match officials to make decisions – even when they can be controversial.
“Dunde United FC will always give priority to our club’s interests, but we will also communicate with FA Scottish and SPFL, and encourage all Premier League clubs to gather. We are looking for ways to support our officials and improve both VAR protocol and any subsequent review committee, with the aim of strengthening Scottish football in favor of clubs Members.
Participate in a voluntary KMI panel for each club. It is understood that there is an expert working alongside the committee with an advisory ability to refer to the laws of the game.
It is also understood that SFA is always looking for ways to develop VAR as it has done since its introduction in October 2022.
