How does Lewis Hamilton get the first Ferrari? What is the difference that appears to be in the forefront after the test? What could be 2025 surprises?
There were a lot of interesting questions heading to the new Formula 1 season with the countdown firmly to the Australian Grand Prix race next week, so I asked you about us Sky Sports The application and the website during our direct Bahrain Test Blog where the new 2025 cars and the first selection seized their full invasions on the right track.
After answering the first round of the questions last week, we dip the postcard for the second time with the PIT-SANE correspondent Ted Kravitz This time it takes a cloak to treat some of the best in the rest with a week until the training is opened in Melbourne live Sky SPORTS F1…
Bethany352 asked: Will Lewis Hamilton Ferrari be better for him than Mercedes? How positive is the first signs of the test?
Ted responses: There are some very positive signs that Hamilton enjoy the way Ferrari leads more than Mercedes.
I think he got what he wanted in terms of placing the driver inside the cockpit. There are no complaints on any side. It is important, determined that the designers and the team behind it at the level of the championship quality, and he realizes that he has everything he needs in the team to develop the car and develop its competitors to try to win this year’s championship.
So, even if Ferrari did not win races at the beginning of the season, Lewis Hamilton is sure they will be able to win races and catch up with Pacesetter.
Sanath Kamte asked: What do you think is the arrangement of the attackers in principle?
Ted responses: I will go to McLaren forward, then Ferrari/Mercedes or Mercedes/Ferrari – and if you want to pay me for a specific request, I will say Mercedes and Ferrari – followed by Red Bull.
Alps in the fifth, Williams in sixth place, Haas in seventh place – which is optimistic, but they say they are in good condition – and the eighth bull race. Then Aston Martin on the ninth and the tenth super.
Garda asked: How does McLaren feel this stage compared to last year when they fought more?
Ted responses: McLaren was a great test in Bahrain and felt a great improvement at this stage compared to last year.
Yes, there were some preparation problems, especially about the fist of the background, but this Bahrain for you, and they believe they can contact this.
But be careful with Mercedes, I think it will be close.
Ethan asked: Do you think there will be any sudden extremist values this season?
Ted responses: I am not sure whether any of the extremist values would be a surprise, but I will definitely see Williams drivers ending on the platform. I think everyone has a soft place for Lilims and I would like it. Pierre Jasli is also a potential platform in the Alps.
I also have great hopes in Olie Bearman if Haas can start a surprise or two.
Jimmy asked: With this big change in regulations for the next year, how early will the early teams work on a 2026 car?
Ted responses: Through the organization, the teams were not allowed to start their cars 2026 until the first work day in January, and once they are allowed to do so.
The difficult thing for auto designers is to work on how to be fast in a straight line with the mobile and rear wings that we will face in 2026 and how this affects the rest of the car. Will they have to operate their car in a different way because they know that they will open their wings on the straight? It is a real mystery.
I think the winners of changing the base will be on the engine because there will be more dependence on the engine to generate electricity because we get rid of the electricity -generating turbines that start from the turbocharged charger for the next year. So the only way you can generate electricity for your battery is to use renewable braking. This will be the biggest change in the lists next year.
ABF1 asked: Which of the young people liked you more in the test?
Ted responses: It is difficult when some young people are in cars that may not be fair to their talents, but after I said that, Gabriel Portolo is already one of my country to see it. He has a good perspective about things and it seems that he suffers from a little patience, which he will need as a leader on their way to the network.
“But when watching the path, it was Kimi Antoneli who has caused more admiration. He had a dramatic, aggressive, to borrow a phrase from Martin Brundel, the acrobatic style that I think we will really enjoy this year.”
Edi asked: Does anyone think Luis Hamilton will win his eighth title this season? Or is Max Versaben out of it?
Ted responses: Both know how to win tournaments. Max will go for five in a row, and Leius will go to the eighth, and they know that consistency is the answer. The recording of the consistent points really wins championships, so even if they do not win, being on the platform in each race will be sufficient to be a serious competitor in the end. Which of them can win.
But what no one can truly hold the title is NGOs. Perhaps you can get away from one or two at most, but definitely not more.
Alan Ryan asked: Did Ferrari prepare the car to suit Lewis or Charles? Do they want the same preparation?
Ted responses: We asked Charles Licerk about this and said that Lewis loves a similar group to him. This helps in developing the car because drivers do not want different things, which mixes the team.
This is one of the reasons why I think, although Ferrari may not be the fastest at the beginning of the season, they will develop and give McLaren hard when we reach European races.
F1Fan94 asked: How do you think that the relationship between Lando and Oscar will develop/change if they have a championship car this season? Will it change?
Ted responses: It is really an interesting topic the relationship between Lando Norris and Oscar Bayasteri. He survived last year through all the questions about whether or not there will be a team leader, and after the keys to lead in Brazil races and Qatar’s race, so I think that if they survive this, it will remain this year as well.
Many depend on who starts the strongest season and whether one of them has any problems like DNF or the collapse of the car, which will prove very expensive this year. But they are so much that I cannot really see that there is any problem among McLaren drivers.
Mike asked: Will cars change the design/Aero from what we see in the test to the first race?
Ted responses: I had said that if any team would change anything, Aston Martin will be with Adrien Newy, who started the team on March 3, and comes and puts a quick front wing quickly or something to use, but unfortunately, I no longer think it is so simple.
I think we will see some new parts through the network, but they were in design and manufacturing for a few weeks now. Usually, if the team sees something on another car in the launch operations they admired and can make, it will appear in the second or three race.
However, Red Paul and Mercedes said that the car they tested would be the car that appears in Melbourne. I think McLaren got something coming for the first race, but this is related.
Adam asked: Is this the year Lando?
Ted responses:He knows that there are a lot of expectations for him, but all he can do is just trying to close it because it will not help him.
“He just needs to take each race as it is, and the bank early, and sees how clarifying the base in the Spanish GP on the front wings will affect McLaren, if any – they say it is not so – then booked its energy when it will be the second decisive half of the season.”
