Glamorgan have sacked coach Grant Bradburn with immediate effect following allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
Bradburn, who was appointed head coach on a three-year deal in January 2024, was recently accused of misconduct by the Independent Cricket Regulatory Authority.
The club referred Bradburn to the independent body after receiving allegations of inappropriate behaviour, and is “confident that a fair and transparent process has been followed in this case”.
Mark Redrich Roberts, Chairman of Glamorgan Cricket, said: “At Glamorgan Cricket we put the wellbeing of our people first and provide support to those affected.
“We are extremely proud of our track record when it comes to making sure everyone involved with the club feels respected, included and treated fairly.”
Glamorgan Cricket says it has a zero-tolerance policy towards discriminatory behavior of any kind.
Hamilton-born Bradburn was an off-spinner who played seven Test matches and 11 one-day internationals for New Zealand between 1990 and 2001.
Bradburn coached Northern Districts and New Zealand Under-19s in his home country before being appointed Scotland coach in 2014.
He coached Scotland to a historic first ODI win over England in 2017 and had a short spell as Pakistan’s coach in 2023 before joining Glamorgan on a three-year deal last January.
Bradburn led Glamorgan to success in the One Day Cup in September and finished fifth in the Vitality County Championship Division Two.
