Lando Norris has returned to “short -sighted” claims in McLaren’s claims that have an advantage over the rest of the stadium in the opening of the opening of the season.
McLaren was the fastest car in the second half of last year, where he won the title of constructors for the first time since 1998 and was apparently strong in the pre -season test.
The normy race simulation on the second day of the F1 test in Bahrain sparked the eyebrows, as it was about one second faster than Charles Licerk Ferrari and Mercedes Kimi Antonelli in the last part of the long term.
George Russell of Mercedes said that McLaren will start the season “to the most powerful extent” and his team’s team’s head, Toto Wolf, stated that the team that is based in Wing is “has the fastest car.
“I know there are a lot of expectations and this is what everyone says. The race race that made it made everyone believe this strongly,” Norris, who was in the Max Verstapen championship at the driver championship last year.
“It was a good race for the race, but it was also in the most perfect circumstances. Oscar operated a race the next day was too slow, not because he led the worst, but simply because the conditions on the last day were largely slower.
“I am completely surprised because many people are short -sighted, especially people who do not expect to be, and extracting a lot of conclusions before we start the season. But everyone just wants to play this game like the weak and comfort.”
Norris: You will be surprised by Ferrari Pace
If McLaren is faster, the test suggested that it is difficult to divide Ferrari, Red Paul and Mercedes at the back.
While Norris held eight positions last year, which exceeded with Verstapen, it was the strong pace of the McLaren race that made the team on Sunday.
Norris Halz Joz has the title of talking about McLaren being the favorite of the team’s “great propaganda” and asked people to monitor Ferrari in Melbourne.
“If you go out at the end of this week and do a bad job, then whoever cares about what people said in the past. I do not believe that,” he added.
“I feel that we are in a similar stadium on top of the three teams. I still think it is in our first four place [teams]. There are many things that others have not seen.
“Other people looked very strong, including Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari. I know the amount of fuel and things that Ferrari had many tests. You’ll be surprised by how quickly they were this week.
“People can talk about what they want. I think we kept ourselves. We continued to focus. We want to be fast, we expect to be a fight, but I definitely do not think about the margin that everyone says.”
On Thursday, the world champion at Verstapen repeated on Thursday in Melbourne that Red Bull “worked to do.”
“I know that we are not the fastest at the moment, but again it’s a very long season,” he said.
“If you asked this question here last year, at the end of the season again, it seems completely different, so many things can always change very quickly in the formula 1.”
NORRIS and PiaSSTRI “free in the race”
Earlier this week, McLaren announced the signing of Oscar Pasterrei on a new extended date of a multi -year contract, which means that their drivers are linked to at least the end of 2027.
PiaSSTRI and Norris have worked well well on the path, although there are flash points last year.
In the Hungarian Grand Prix, Norris was repeatedly informed of allowing Piasstri in the last stages of the race after undermining his teammate in the hole. Ultimately, Nuris Bayastiri allowed three rolls to go until the Australian won the F1 race before marriage.
Six weeks later in Monza, PiaSSTRI surpassed Norris in the opening lap of the Italian Grand Racing when the couple was in first and second. When doing this, Norris also lost to Charles Licertrick and Ferrari’s driver to win.
After this incident, McLaren announced that Norris would get priority for the rest of the season because of his position in the drivers championship. However, in the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Norris Sergio Perez slowed to help Pastari and the latter won the race. Norris also allowed Piasstri to win the enemy of Qatar before they reached the fluctuating flag.
PiaSSTRI will get the house to be crowded with him at the end of this week, and Norris confirmed that she is “free in the race.”
“There are no Babaya rules,” he said.
“Our strength last season was helping each other and always to give each other good space, and the race width. That was our strength last season and we needed to keep it. This is one of our biggest things as one team and our largest goal.
“It will be always difficult because we want to overcome each other. This is inevitable at the end of the day. But at the present time, there are lines that we cannot cross as teammates.
“Let’s keep the two cars on the right track and do not let any wreck fly. Regardless, we are happy with the race, we are excited about the race against each other and pushed each other to the maximum.”
