Illlan Meslier’s trip was dropped to Luton on Saturday after his prominent mistakes against Swansea.
Daniel Fark, who was under pressure to bring down the French, confirmed the news on Thursday.
Meslier dropped the ball from the Josh Tymon angle immediately after the hour, with Swansea’s Harry Darling on hand to shoot at the house and punish his mistake.
Then the goalkeeper was beaten in his near position by Zan Vipotnik in the 96th minute, when the Welsh team came out with a tie that deprived Leeds of the opportunity to move at points with Sheffield United at the top of the section.
“I made my decision and spoke to the goalkeepers, Karl Darlo will play on Saturday,” he told the club’s official website on Thursday.
“It was important to have clarity early in the week, so Carl could focus on this.”
Darlo, 34, has not played a league match for the club since December 29, 2023.
Speaking after the aforementioned withdrawal, Vark refused to blame Meslier for his role in the result.
“I am far from punishing the player [in Meslier] Because we win together, lose together and collect. “
“After such a game and a tragic end, they do not need a manager who puts the result on the shoulder of the players.
“It is a tragic moment if you are giving up this way but it is a football. If you want to participate in sports, you cannot always expect the sun to shine.
“We had great winners at the last minute and the opponent had to suffer from the disappointment that we went through today – the poetry of Cindeland and Cheffold United with disappointment that we do completely. You have to suffer a little, this is normal, but then we go again.”
