The Leeds Renos star, which joined the year 2025, was excluded, Mika Sivo, throughout the Premier League season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Seifu was injured during the Leeds preparatory match for the new season against Wigan Warriors on Sunday, and he came out in the first half of his team’s 22-4 victory.
The unicorn team signed on the pavilion with a three -year deal from the NRL Paraama Elles team. The 31 -year -old will undergo surgery now.
“Our first thoughts with Mika and we will turn around and offer him and his family support for us,” Leeds Renos coach Brad Arthur said in a statement.
“Our medical team will make sure that it gets the best possible treatment to return from injury as quickly
“This is a very severe blow to us as a club, but it is especially destructive for Mika, who has adapted well with our group,” added sports director Ian Blaze.
“We were all excited to see what it could do in the Premier League in 2025, but we will just have to wait for that now. With regard to our team, we will need to review the entire situation and consider all our options.”
He added: “We have some distinguished young players who can now get the opportunity to seize their chance, and I will discuss all our options with the club and Brad and the training staff in the coming weeks before the start of the season.”
