Marouj Bin Shalom says Martin Bacol is still ready to fight Efe Ajagba in May, despite his closed defeat against Joseph Parker last month.
Bacol ascended as a substitute at the last minute to face Parker on February 22 when the world champion at IBF Daniel Duba was forced to withdraw from his defense of the title through the disease.
The heavyweight competitor was already scheduled to fight in one of the final pesticides of the world title, but he answered the invitation and took two trips on a trip from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to his head, as he fell in the morning of the competition in full view of the lack of possibilities.
However, it was not the case, as Bakul suffered from stopping the second round after he decreased under the blow of his head, but he will now get his opportunity to make immediate amendments of some kind.
Bakole is now preparing to distribute it to the medium -weight King Caneo alvarez card against William Schole in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 3.
“I think May 3, we hope that this will be announced next week or so,” Boxxer CEO Shalom told Boxxer for Guxxer. Sky Sports.
“Canilo is in his head. I think the time zone is better for us, a huge card, so it was logical.”
Bakole will reach 21-2 after being defeated by his second career, while Ajagba is 20-1 after he left the ring since he beat Guido Vianelllo through the division decision last April.
“He was the usual, optimistic and ready to go,” Shalom added. “The main thing for me is to make sure that it can come out quickly in a fight that can prepare for it.
“I still think it is the most dangerous heavy weight on this planet, it now needs to prove this.”
It remains to see whether the battle will remain a final remover, a Bacol’s defeat against Parker after it apparently collided with the arrangement of the attackers.
However, he knows another statement his victory returns to competition.
“The battle continues, it is definitely fighting and will be ajagba,” said Shalom.
“We will work with the ruling bodies on how he works, and it has not been dropped away from any of the ruling bodies, as he is there and I think people in boxing know what it was. I am excited about him to have a complete camp and show what is going on around him.
“It is a single battle away from returning to this mixture, but I wage a difficult battle and pressure to perform now, if it does not lead against wings and wins, this is a problem. It is a huge battle in his career and he will know that.”
Although he was unsuccessful, Bakole was widely driven by his acceptance of the battle against Parker in only two -day notice as he sought to strengthen his store as described as the greatest card in the history of boxing.
This risks did not come, but Shalom is sure that, with a full window to prepare properly, Bakole can mention the world about the reason for forming such a threat to the higher names in the heavyweight section.
Shalom said: “His manager and coach ordered me to do everything in my power to make the battle, and I can only in this position do my job,” Shalom said. “He was crazy, and he knew he was part of his personality, he loved himself to the fans.
“The biggest problem at the beginning of his career was how to make people know who Martin Bacol is and now they know who he is.
“It was a huge news story, which was beaten at the top of the head, and it could have happened in any battle.
“He got his changing money for life, but we hope we can prepare properly and can start getting the battles that he deserves to be.”
