Oscar Piastri: McLaren driver signs new contract extension until at least 2028 with reigning F1 constructors’ champions ahead of Australian GP | F1 News happymamay

OSCAR PIASSTRI signed an extension with McLaren who will keep it with the team until at least 2028.

Piastri began in the race for McLaren in 2023 after signing it in the previous year, and agreed to a new multi -year deal at the top of his current contract, which will continue until 2026.

PiaSSTRI won two races in his March at F1, the Grands Grands race last year, one of the favorite candidates for this season with McLaren is expected to have a strong car.

Will PiaSSTRI and Norris continue to work in complete harmony?

Norris and PiaSSTRI seem to have a good relationship with the two seasons who spent together as teammates but there were tense moments last year.

In the Hungarian Grand Prix, Norris was repeatedly informed of allowing Piasstri in the last stages of the race after undermining his teammate in the hole. Ultimately, Nuris Bayastiri allowed three rolls to go until the Australian won the F1 race before marriage.

Six weeks later in Monza, PiaSSTRI surpassed Norris in the opening lap of the Italian Grand Racing when the couple was in first and second. When doing this, Norris also lost to Charles Licertrick and Ferrari’s driver to win.

After this incident, McLaren announced that Norris would get priority for the rest of the season because of his position in the drivers championship. However, in the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Norris Sergio Perez slowed to help Pastari and the latter won the race.
