Manchester United coach Robin Amorim warned against “we are fighting for our jobs” as attention turned from Saga Marcus Rashford, which was involved in January.
Rashford United, who sits in thirteenth in the Premier League table, left after he suffered seven defeats in Old Trafford in this semester, where he joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season.
During his press conference on Thursday afternoon, a tie in the fourth round of the FA Cup in the FA Cup on Friday against Leicester in Old Trafford, Amorim was asked about the conclusion of the deal.
“We are fighting for our jobs until the summer. I just focus on these games,” he said.
Fortunately for Marcus, he is in Birmingham now, with UNAI [Emery] So you can take questions for these months to another coach.
“We only focus on our players at the present time.
“I knew when I chose this profession that you have the risk of results and I already knew when I came here.
“I looked at the schedule, I looked at the team and understood that my decision to change everything, and made these difficult decisions in the middle of the season – without new signatures – posed a danger to the coach.
“But from the first day, with good results or bad results, I have a clear idea of what I want to do and I bear these risks because in the end, I think it will pay its fruits.
“But I am not naive; I have already said many times that this is a sport of results and we are in a difficult situation.”
United Anthony, Terrell Malassia and Marcus allowed the club to leave on loan, with young defenders, Aiden Hegev and Patrick Durgo, the only ones.
The club appeared about the signature of Matess Tele from Bayern Munich, but the 19 -year -old attacked instead joined Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.
When analyzing the window, Amorim was referred to the UNITED idea that suffers from short -term pain to make long -term gains.
“What I feel is that the club takes its time,” he said. “We know the team’s urgency at the present time, but I think everyone here does not want to make the same mistakes that we made in the past.
“We have to improve our players, win some games, and then, in the summer, we will see. We are really careful for transfers because we have made some mistakes in the past.
“It is a moment that is difficult to turn in a few games. It will be so – it’s really difficult – until the end of the season.
“We want something different in our team, we want features and this is my area, so I decided to do so [not make wholesale changes in January].
“We bear some risks, but this is the way we want to move forward. We can improve our team. We will have time to train because I always complain about the lack of time to train.
“Now we have time to train, we will improve the team and players. I want a certain type of players, a different definition file, and we are changing immediately.”
