Robin Amorim doubled his comments that Manchester United is not forced to win the European League for this season to take steps forward – claiming that the club can still attract senior players without football periods in the Champions League.

In his press conference on Wednesday evening, Amorim confirmed his belief that he still needs to fix the club’s problems even if they had football in the Champions League next season.

“This is not the decisive thing for the club’s future,” he said. “This is my point of view.

“I was here for three months, and this is clear. But I understand that it is a big difference in our season. Especially because we are outside the cups, and in a bad situation in the league.
