The tournament revealed the legend of tennis Venus Williams at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wales.
The development comes days after its announcement that it will compete after accepting the entry of the wild card.
“Our team was informed that Venus does not accept the wild card this year,” this event was published in X in a statement attributed to the tournament manager Tommy Haas.
“We wish Venus all the best and we hope to see her again in Wales Indian in the future.”
BNP Paribas, which has previously issued a press statement revealing that the previous world number 1 got a WildCard card to make it the tenth in the tournament.
The 44 -year -old has not been competing since Miami Open in March 2024.
